The CEU Environmental Systems Laboratory cordially invites to the series of presentations on
“Geospatial technologies and remote sensing for monitoring sustainable development goals”

CEU Auditorium, Budapest

Syslab in cooperation with CEU SUN, UNOOSA, DG Joint Research Centre and ESRI continues professional training program on using geospatial technologies for evidence based decision and policy making.

Geospatial technologies and remote sensing offer a crucial location element to the monitoring of SDGs and their corresponding targets and indicators. The unprecedented “power of where” allows for unbiased observation and analysis across borders, administrative boundaries, and nations.

The first day of the training program are made open for CEU community. The open sessions will be conducted by global leaders in geospatial technologies and review latest achievements in improved data-driven decision-making and monitoring SDGs, such as satellite technologies and Geographic Information Systems.
